I have felt what you described, “a kind of stillness or satiety, one you feel inside your body.” My experience was so memorable, it stays with me to this day. I was rocking my newborn baby and a feeling of overwhelming calm came over me. Nothing else in the world mattered except that moment. I was completely present. The entire world fell away and I was more than happy that way. Nothing else mattered but that moment.
Ha, yes! All the messaging of fulfilling potential and bringing yourself to fruition can really keep you running like a hamster on a wheel. Thanks for sharing, Archana!
It sounds like you are in an acceptance mode--of yourself, and maybe all of life, as it is. Quite a feat, Priya. Do revel in it.
Jeanine, thank you. It was both a mental clarity and a visceral reaction, and new to me. It felt like a jigsaw piece slotting into place!

Mary, that's exactly it. A mindfulness, but not practiced so much as being. Thank you for sharing! You capture how feeling slips in unnoticed.
What a beautiful expression of what you felt that day.
Arpita, thank you!
Thanks for this! Most of the time we forget that this beautiful life is here in the now. We definitely have arrived!

Omg Priya! What a wonderful feeling to come across you.
Here’s to accepting ourselves as we are right now!
Beautiful written, and a beautiful realisation. :)
Michael, thank you! 🙏🏽
