It's too early to say, but at this point I'm kinda relying on it!

I agree with your point though. Life - or at least my life - is a journey, not a destination. I feel like any definition of 'blooming' implies an ending. As you say, it can only really be judged in retrospect, so I guess I should be grateful to not be able to look back and identify definitive blossoms in the past.

Bloomed early, middle, late, still blooming, somewhat of a perennial That may be a good counterpoint to millennial (born 81-96) and all the other Gen's - X's, Y's and Z's. And then, guess we're starting over with Gen Alpha!

I do. I published my first chapbook this year and my first full-length collection is coming out in April. Hooray to late bloomers!

I’m not a late bloomer. I’m just blooming late.

I really enjoyed the reflective nature of this article Priya. It challenges the normal conceptions of ‘success’ and I love that.

I also think that your brought it home so strongly in the last paragraph — a very powerful ending indeed. :)

Yes, I'd say I'm a late bloomer with most things.
